Sorry. I'm having trouble embedding links for some reason. Needless to say, the alleged candidates for the job are interesting. I wonder how much pressure there will be to blame everything bad that has ever happened on Cardinal George so that Cardinal Bernardin's legacy is protected. At least one of the prospects is a protege of +Bernardin, which really doesn't mean anything except that the pressure on him will be pretty tough if he is picked. I don't question his own motives.
Speaking of, did anybody bother to ask any questions about said legacy when the info dump came from the Archdiocese on the abuse scandal?
